BRU 21. Electric burn injury. (Shwt/Swj/m’lisa ) operated at Burns OT on 31.7.18 Pre op. Right forearm circumferential wound with exposed ulna . Post op : Bipedicled abdomen flap in the form of a Pocket.
NPS 35. Pt – T.M. Electric burn 8 months ago. CT – no significant osteomyelitic changes. Bhrt/CNorb NPS OT June 2018. Bipedicle flaps ( 2 in no.) and STSG over both lateral sides :
NPS 37. Operated on 27.6.18 Wednesday. (Unit 3) CA alveolus (right). WLE (with segmental mandibulectomy) + MRND (R) ; reconstruction with : free fibula osteocutaneous flap (harvested from the left leg *) + forehead flap Free fibula for mandible reconstruction and inner lining (+ some part of cover); forehead flap for cover. *See theoretical notes […]
ESW X6 A case of mangled hand due to machinery injury. In the first sitting; fractures were reduced and K wire fixation was done. In the second stage (22.6.18 NPS-OT NorbuC/Bhrt/Shwt); soft tissue coverage in the form of PIA flap (posterior interosseous artery flap) was done for defect over the dorsum of the hand. […]
ESW___ (Swj/Manjn_sow) operated at Main OT Post op (immediate) : Distal margin of the flap became congested (as is quite usual of the reverse sural flap) progressing to marginal necrosis; and was debrided. After a few dressing changes there was healthy granulation in that area (which was later skin grafted)
NPS 40. Operated on 15.6.18 at NPS-OT. Rotation-transposition flaps (2 in number) and split thickness skin grafting for the remaining areas :
